Brought in 2011 Infinity. Told them it was overheating I replaced thermostat and didn’t feel any warmth on top rad hose. I suspected radiator may have blockage, since new thermostat didn’t fix problem. They diagnose call me and Brian tells me price is $600 to get in and look at thermostat. I had 4 estimates to replace thermostat for 425, 450, 455 & 489 that includes the thermostat part. I’m trying to dig deeper into why so much since I have them what it prob is because water is not circulating in upper rad hose. “Brian” decides I’m talking over him and forgets who customer is, me! If you want someone to try and dictate the conversation becuz he’s the mechanic go see them, if you want to express your opinion about the quote or what your experience is DO NOT go here. He wasn’t even clear what $600 quote was for other than check thermostat and out in some coolant. $600 for that yea what a value! I just took car back. Went to AK auto repair they took radiator cap off ran water down then up from water hose saw there was flow. Fixed my Installation of new thermostat put new coolant in charged me $150 versus 660 it would have been at. (L) and (M) auto repair. Trying to fleece me and in sure been doing it a long time, so bottom line Brian chased away me as customer and 100s upon 100s others that I know that I’ll never refer here. Owning a business entails convincing customer why choose you? Well providing and hiring pleasant people who will be the first to interact with customers would be good start, you NEVER, get 2nd chance to make 1st impression. Brian was arrogant and unwilling to hear what I was trying to tell him. He then went to say he had to check Thermostat I installed that’s leaking like a sive and its missing bolt. I took it in there because I knew I didn’t install it great it did allow me to drive care but was still getting hot. If would have been clear about what needed to be done but $600 bucks to look at what’s going on what type of estimate is that supposedly he looked at codes as so do I I have an OBD reader as well. Just sick and tired of auto repair business’s trying to bend people over for repairs.

I brought my pick-up to L&M Auto with a noise coming from the engine. L&M's diagnosis revealed a problem internally in the bottom end of my 175,000 mile engine and I decided for an engine swap rather than a similar cost for just a partial rebuild. L&M found a used replacement engine with less than 1/2 the miles of my original engine, installed it and I’m very happy with the result.
